Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and many people will be thinking of their loved ones, some of whom we are unable to visit in the foreseeable future. To help you navigate this unchartered territory, we have created our guide to Vegan Valentine’s Day Gifts 2021 – Covid edition.
From our partners, sisters, cousins, best friends and grandparents – everyone could use a little Valentine’s Day pick me up. This is a day about LOVE and that doesn’t necessarily mean that it has to include romance. Going solo this season? Practice a little self-care and give the gift of well-being to yourself or spend it with a good friend, whilst laughing, watching cheesy movies and drinking wine. Whatever you decide to do, it is important to remember that wherever you are in life is exactly where you should be and there is nothing about a day of love that should challenge that. So, if you’re practicing self-love, hanging with a bestie, have a romantic date – we have the perfect top ten Vegan Valentine’s gift ideas for you.
Valentine's Gift Idea #1
Valentines Day Chocolate or Chocolate + Self Care Box
Of course, we are a little biased, but we do think that our Valentine’s Day Vegan Chocolate Boxes are perfect for anyone who needs a little love. With 7 types of vegan chocolates from local (Vancouver, BC) artisan chocolate makers and a spa kit to help relax at the end of the day, who wouldn’t want to indulge a little with these? All of the items in this Valentine’s gift are cruelty-free, from a small business and Canadian. Not only will you be giving an awesome gift, but you are also supporting small businesses, which is so important right now.
They can be sent directly to your loved one’s home or you can have it sent to you, for you to give to directly. You can also include a Valentine’s Day Card, personalised from you, and beautiful Valentine’s Day gift-wrapping. And the best part is, we ship for free within Canada and the US.

Valentine's Gift Idea #3
It doesn’t always need to cost money to have the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. With the restrictions this year and for most of us not wanting to be in a group of people, I think a lot of us are second-guessing that expensive Valentine’s Day dinner. Although, if you are up to it, and it is safe to do so, the restaurants sure could use a boost, but, understandably it’s not possible for everyone to dine out. It may be a little fresh outside, but what about a cute picnic?
One of my favourite dates was a picnic, just knowing that my partner put that effort in, planned what we would eat, where we should sit and brought extra blankets for me was far more romantic than any fancy restaurant could be(albeit, it was summer but the cold could be extra cozy!). Ladies, am I wrong? Who wouldn’t prefer a well thought out romantic picnic compared to an easy option like a nice restaurant (although, still a lovely date)? It’s the thought that counts, isn’t it? But it probably wouldn’t hurt to bring some chocolate along too! 🙂
Valentine's Gift Idea #4
It’s been a stressful year for nearly everyone. I think that is the one thing that everyone can agree on, globally. I think all of us could use a little R&R. You don’t have to go to a famous Scandinavian spa and jump into ice water to enjoy the relaxation that water gives us. When I moved into my apartment one of the major selling points was the large soaker tub. I love a big bathtub! And yet, I have been living here for 8 months now and have used it 3 times maximum. So get those bath salts out, your fancy soaps, the essential oils and indulge your partner or just treat yourself to a romantic warm spa experience.
Valentine's Gift Idea #5
Go Love Yourself
Practice Self-Love. You don’t have to spend a dime to take a day and make it all about you. Take yourself for a walk, or for a picnic, or that spa bath. Practice gratitude and meditation. Take a moment to reflect on where you are and how far you’ve come. Life is so busy, and we are often so disconnected from ourselves that we lose touch with what is important. So love yourself, be the partner that you have always dreamed of, they are probably one and the same. So, what tickles you? Go do that, and take a day. We all know you need it. t
